JBayLet is a South African property listing and booking enquiry platform for holiday rentals, long-term rentals, student accommodation, and property sales listings. JBayLet helps users find listings and contact the host, property owner, or agency responsible for the listing.

Use the registration page, complete the required account information, accept the Terms of Service, and verify your email address. Account access may be limited until verification is completed.

The Terms of Service explain account responsibilities, listing rules, direct payment responsibilities, prohibited conduct, reviews, enforcement, and platform safety rules. Users must agree before creating an account.

Standard users can use the password reset link on the login page. Agency-created agent accounts remain pending until the password setup email is sent and the agent sets their password; after that the account activates and the agent can sign in.

Browse a listing, submit an enquiry or booking request, and contact the host or agency responsible for that listing. Availability, costs, deposits, payment method, and booking terms are agreed directly with that host or agency.

No. JBayLet hosts listings and helps guests contact hosts and agencies. Guest booking payments, deposits, commissions, percentages, and direct rental or accommodation costs are handled directly between the guest and the host or agency.

Confirm the property, dates, price, deposit, cancellation terms, refund terms, payment details, proof of authority, and written agreement. Keep receipts, payment references, screenshots, and messages.

Paystack processes subscription payments for hosts, property owners, and approved agencies that pay for listing and dashboard access. Paystack is not used by JBayLet to split guest booking payments or automatically pay hosts or agencies.

The current public plans are shown on the Subscriptions page. The plan card and checkout page show the billing period, price, role, dashboard access, and included limits before payment.

Yes. Before Paystack checkout starts, users must agree to the Subscription Terms of Service and Terms of Use, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, and the payment handling details shown on JBayLet.

After Paystack payment, JBayLet verifies the payment reference server-side, checks the amount, currency, plan, and Paystack configuration, and then applies the role and dashboard access linked to the selected plan.

If Paystack reports that a subscription is inactive, disabled, or failed, JBayLet may remove the paid role, paid dashboard access, and listing access linked to that subscription after the paid period or according to the relevant status.

Individual hosts can choose a plan on the Subscriptions page and complete checkout. Agencies must apply first and can continue to billing only after approval.

The host or agency sets their own listing costs, deposits, payment process, booking terms, cancellation terms, guest communication process, and operating systems. JBayLet does not interfere unless legal, safety, fraud, or compliance concerns are reported or detected.

Hosts must publish accurate listings, have authority to list the property, keep availability and pricing current, communicate clearly, follow applicable laws and building rules, and honour the direct terms they give to guests, tenants, students, or buyers.

Agency access is reviewed before billing so JBayLet can check the business, agency authority, legal operating information, and supporting documents needed for a compliant agency account. Approved agencies receive a secure billing link by email.

The agency application asks for applicant and agency details, company registration number where applicable, agency number, PPRA or Fidelity Fund Certificate number where applicable, business physical address, number of agents, operating explanation, ID document image, stamped and signed proof of address, business registration documents, and legal agency supporting documents.

JBayLet emails the agency applicant a secure billing link. The checkout page shows the approved agency plan and Paystack payment step. Agency access is activated after Paystack payment verification succeeds.

Agency accounts manage agency tools and agents. Activated agency agents publish listings from their own accounts under the agency structure, subject to agent and listing limits.

For direct booking or payment disputes, users should first contact the other party because payment and booking terms are agreed directly with them. JBayLet can review platform misuse, misleading listings, fraud, unsafe conduct, privacy concerns, legal non-compliance, and subscription billing/access concerns.

Use the Report a Concern page and choose the closest category. Include property links, dates, usernames, payment references, screenshots, messages, or documents where relevant.

JBayLet may review account, listing, booking, chat, and activity logs, request more information, pause listings, suspend or restrict accounts, reject applications, or escalate serious matters to the relevant authorities.

Guest booking refunds and cancellations follow the terms agreed directly between the guest and the host or agency. JBayLet does not hold guest booking funds and does not process guest booking refunds.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal billing where Paystack supports cancellation. You normally keep the paid role and access until the current paid service period expires, unless access is suspended earlier for fraud, abuse, legal non-compliance, chargeback risk, or serious policy breach.

Subscription refund requests are reviewed case by case. Refunds may be considered for duplicate payments, incorrect plan activation, failed access provisioning, verified billing errors, or other cases where paid subscription access was not provided.

Users must agree to the Terms of Service when creating an account. These terms cover account responsibilities, listing rules, platform use, direct payments, reviews, and enforcement.

No. Card numbers, CVV, banking credentials, and sensitive payment details are handled by Paystack. JBayLet stores payment references, subscription status, customer or subscription codes supplied by Paystack, and plan information needed to confirm access and support billing queries.
