Subscription Terms of Service & Terms of Use

Terms that apply before a host, owner, or approved agency continues to Paystack subscription payment.

These Subscription Terms apply to paid JBayLet service provider access, including individual host plans, single listing plans, and approved agency plans.

1. Scope of Subscription Access

A JBayLet subscription is a paid platform access service. It gives the subscriber access to the role, dashboard tools, listing categories, and listing limits connected to the selected plan for the applicable billing period.

Subscriptions do not guarantee enquiries, bookings, sales, rentals, rankings, property views, guest payments, tenant payments, or business outcomes.

2. Paystack Billing and Payment Handling

Subscription payments are processed by Paystack. JBayLet sends the selected plan, amount, currency, user account details, and required metadata to Paystack so the payment can be processed securely. JBayLet does not store card numbers, CVV, or sensitive payment credentials.

After payment, JBayLet verifies the Paystack reference server-side before access is granted. If the reference cannot be verified, if the amount or plan does not match, or if Paystack reports a failed or inactive subscription, JBayLet may refuse, delay, suspend, or remove paid access.

3. Plan Access, Listing Limits, and Role Limits

  • Single listing plans allow the listing category and quantity stated on the plan before checkout.
  • Host plans allow the host dashboard tools and listing limits stated on the plan before checkout.
  • Agency plans allow the approved agency dashboard and agent management capacity stated before checkout. Agency accounts manage agents; activated agents publish listings from their own accounts.
  • JBayLet may update plan names, limits, included tools, and pricing for future billing periods. The checkout page shows the current price, billing period, and included limits before payment.

4. Agency Subscription Conditions

Agencies must apply and be approved before agency billing is available. The application may require applicant details, agency/company information, registration information, agency number, PPRA or Fidelity Fund Certificate details where applicable, physical address, number of agents, operating explanation, ID document image, stamped and signed proof of address, business registration documents, and other legal agency supporting documents.

If an agency is approved, JBayLet emails a secure billing link. Agency access is activated only after the Paystack subscription is successfully verified. JBayLet may later suspend or review agency access if compliance information becomes inaccurate, expired, incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful.

5. Renewals, Failed Payments, and Expiry

Subscriptions renew according to the Paystack plan and billing period shown before checkout, unless cancelled or disabled through the supported process. If renewal fails, JBayLet may receive a failed or inactive status from Paystack and may remove paid role access after the paid period ends or when the subscription is no longer valid.

Users are responsible for keeping their payment method, email address, and account details current so subscription notices and billing updates can be received.

6. Subscription Cancellations

If a user cancels a subscription, the cancellation stops future renewal billing where Paystack supports that cancellation. The user keeps access to the paid role, dashboard tools, and included limits until the current paid service period expires, unless access is suspended earlier because of fraud, abuse, legal non-compliance, chargeback risk, policy breach, or another serious platform risk.

At the end of the paid period, JBayLet may downgrade the account, remove paid listing access, pause paid features, prevent new paid listings, or move listings into a restricted state according to the plan and role rules then in effect.

7. Subscription Refunds

Subscription refund requests are reviewed case by case. Refunds may be considered for duplicate payments, incorrect plan activation, failed access provisioning, verified billing errors, or other circumstances where JBayLet did not provide the paid subscription access.

Refunds are generally not guaranteed where the user selected the correct plan, paid successfully, received access, and used or had the ability to use the subscription during the billing period. Approved refunds are processed back through the original payment channel where possible, subject to Paystack and banking timelines.

8. Subscription Terms of Use

  • Subscribers must use the dashboard only for lawful, accurate, and authorised listings.
  • Subscribers may not sell, rent, share, transfer, or misuse paid dashboard access.
  • Subscribers must not bypass plan limits, create misleading duplicate listings, or use another account to avoid restrictions.
  • Subscribers remain responsible for their own property terms, guest communication, direct payments, cancellations, refunds, tax obligations, legal compliance, and agency or property practitioner obligations.

9. Subscription Disputes

For subscription billing disputes, users should contact JBayLet support with their account email, Paystack reference, plan name, date of payment, amount, and a clear description of the problem. JBayLet reviews the Paystack record, account access logs, plan configuration, and relevant support history before deciding the outcome.

For guest booking disputes, the guest and host or agency must first refer to their direct agreement because JBayLet does not process guest booking payments. JBayLet can still review platform misuse, misleading listings, fraud, safety issues, and legal compliance reports.
